Homams to mark guru peyarchi (Jupiter’s transit) are being conducted at Sri Singaravelar Temple at Mandavelipakkam and at Sai Baba Temple, Mylapore (seen in the picture) today morning (Aug 2) . It is believed that the ‘guru preethi’ homam on the day of transit is necessary to overcome all hurdles and to have success in life.
