Lalitha Kala Vedika is celebrating its 21st anniversary at Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Senior Secondary School, Mylapore on Aug 30 and 31.
The chief guests are Justice AR. Lakshmanan and MLA R. Natraj. The Lalitha Kala Vedika Gold Medal will be presented to vocalist Sudha Ragunathan and dancer Leela Samson.
The Sri. B. V. S. S. Mani cash award will be presented to Malladi Suribabu and the B. Lalitharatnam cash award will be given to Krishnakumari Narendran. A vocal concert by Amirtha Murali and a bharatanatyam performance by Narthaki Nataraj will follow the award function on Aug 30 and 31. At 5, Sundareswarar Street, Mylapore, 6 p.m.
