Mylapore MLA R. Nataraj will be inaugurating ‘Project Hawk’, a CCTV Project taken up by the residents of Jeth Nagar First Main Road, Vinayagam Street and Pattammal Street at Mandaveli on Saturday, June 3.
Ravi Nandyala, a resident at Jeth Nagar First Main Road says, “For a long time, this area was known for its illegal activities and chain snatching incidents. About six months ago, we approached MLA Nataraj and requested that LED lights be put up at night. Once that was done, we took up the task of installing the CCTV cameras”.
The event will be held at the police booth at Jeth Nagar First Main Road. At 5.30 p.m.
