Indira Ranganathan Trust’s annual music fest starts today: garden setting

The Sunaadalahari annual music festival hosted by Indira Ranganathan Trust starts this Feb.29 evening at the garden-set venue on C. P. Ramaswamy Road, Alwarpet.

Arts promoter N. V. Subramanian will be honoured at the launch and this will be followed by a flute concert by J B Shruti Sagar. On the next evening, on Sunday vocalist Kolkata Padmavathy Saranathan performs and on Monday, vocalist Ritvik Raja is in concert.

The Trust hosts its concerts in a bungalow’s garden, to give it a chamber-like atmosphere. The venue is next to the Nilgiris store on this road. Open to all.
