The buzz that used to echo inside the Tirumailai MRTS rail station is yet to return despite the fact that trains are now run to a new schedule. The same is the case at other stations in the zone.
The accent in now on services at the peak hours only for people in government services, health and aid workers, and such staff.
But others can also take the trains that run through the day. They can travel only during non=peak hours.
However, there are hardly 10 or 12 commuters in a bogie on this section at non-peak hors.
The non peak hours are 4 am to 7 am, 9.30 am to 4.30 pm and from 7 to 11.30 p.m.
