There are people who have to visit a temple or church every day, even if it means saying a prayer at the gates.
At Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple in Mylapore, the stream of people who stop and pray at the east gopuram is steady even though religious places are off-limits for people due to pandemic conditions.
The gates of the temple are now kept open and a tall metal barricade erected to discourage people from. stepping inside.
Even in the hot sun, people stop by and are glad to face the sannidhi of lord Vinayaka.
