Durgabai Deshmukh General Hospital and Research Centre Andhra Mahila Sabha has a free medical check up for senior citizens (55 years and above). The event is in commemoration of Dr. Durga Deshmukh’s birth anniversary. It is at Ashvattha Geriatric Unit of their premises in R A Puram from July 1 to 31 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. (except Sundays).
Free out patient consultation, eye check up, medical and BP check up, haemoglobin test and urine routine, blood sugar (R) and ECG are being offered. Free cataract surgery for deserving patients can be availed.
There are special clinics on Saturdays. Register at 2493 8311 ext. 306, 307 (reception) and 336 ( senior citizens ward).
