Indian Bank entertains queries of pensioners

Two issues dominated the ‘Pension Adalat’ organised by Indian Bank, Mylapore branch.

They were – pensioners not being provided their arrears calculation sheet and confusion on the procedure to claim medical allowances.

The meet was held on Sept.5 for pensioners of State and Central government offices / departments.

More than 150 pensioners attended the meet. They came here to seek clarifications and raise queries, said B. Parthasarathy, Assistant General Manager of the bank. Customers of other banks were also present.

Individual attention was paid to all the people who had come, said Parthasarathy.

The bank entertains complaints like the ones raised at this meet on a daily basis. Thirumavalavan and Rajeshwaran are the Pension Officers in this branch and they can be contacted for any queries on pensions, says Parthasarathy.
