Kartik Fine Arts has announced the names of artistes who will be honoured during their 36th Art Festival in December 1010/January 2011.
Mridangam artiste, J Vaidhyanathan gets ‘Isai Peroli‘, dancer Lavanya Sankar gets the; Nadana Mamani, flutist Dr. N. Ramani (seen in photo) will be given the ‘Tamil Isai Vender‘ title and the Natya Chudar award is for Anuroopitha Sampath (dancer).
The Kartik Rajagopal award goes to sabha secretary ‘Mudhra’ Baskar, the Dr. Seerkazhi Govindarajan award to nadaswaram maestro S R G Rajanna, the Guru Karaikudi Mani award to Kallidaikurichi S. Sivakumar (mridangam) and the D K Pattammal award to vocalist Amrutha Venkatesh.
