The Mylapore Police have arrested R. S. Manivannan, a resident of R. K. Mutt Road and former city councillor of PMK for stabbing a man at the Mylapore Police Station on Sunday.
Manivannan had been opposing his daughter’s friendship with Bilal and had gone to the police station to lodge a complaint when his daughter did not return home on Saturday.
When Bilal’s brother Ahmed Basha, a painter had come to the police station Manivannan has stabbed him.
The police have registered a case of attempt to murder on Manivanna.
