In view of the Republic Day Celebration on Jan.26 and the rehearsals on Jan.21 and 23 at Kamarajar Salai, the following traffic arrangements will be made on these 3 days. This information has been shared by the Chennai City Traffic Police.
The stretch of Kamarajar Salai from Light House upto War Memorial will be closed for all the vehicular traffic from 6 a.m. onwards till 9.30 a.m. The stretch of Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai from Dr.Natesan Road Junction upto Gandhi Statue will be closed for all the vehicular traffic from 6.00 a.m. onwards till 9.30 a.m.
Vehicles coming from North Chennai intending to proceed towards Mylapore and Adyar should take Anna Salai, Pattulous Road, Royapettah Tower Clock, Royapettah High Road, Royapettah I Point, Royapettah Flyover and R.K. Mutt Road.
Similarly, the vehicles coming from South Chennai should also take the same route in reverse direction.
