Hamsala Rajendran, a resident of Abhiramapuram passed away on May 12. She was 63 years. She had been a resident of Mylapore for over 35 years.
She was a qualified lawyer. She joined Bambino kindergarten and primary school in 1985 and worked as a senior teacher and consultant till her end.
She was a perfectionist to the core and would never rest until she was completely satisfied with her work, says a school staff.
She was a creative artist and used to write short stories for All India Radio.
Hamsala was a life member of the Monday [charity] Club and won several prizes for mono-acting in their functions. She was also a member of Meenakshi Mami’s bhajan group, Mylapore.
She is survived by her husband Rajendran and mother.
