V. Varadarajan passed away on May 11 at the age of 74.
He was a resident of Mylapore /Mandaveli area since 1965. He hailed from the village of Perambur, near Kumbakkonam.
Varadarajan retired from Chicago Pneumatics in 1995. He was very passionate about Carnatic music, and gave a lot of attention and detail to the rendition of the ragams, says a family member.
He is survived by his wife Kamakshi Varadarajan (Vice President and bhajan leader – All India Sai Samaj, Mylapore), son Kamesh and daughter Viji.
