Ashok’s Pooja’s Centre is a recently-opened shop for pooja items in West Mada Chitrakulam Street.
The shop is a branch of the 30-year-old Ashok Audio Musicals in the same street.
“Our clients suggested we offer pooja items so we started this. We sell products produced by companies,”, says K. Ashokumar.
There are various packages for each festival or teligious event like Ayyappan Pooja, Sumangali Pooja, Ganapathi Homam, Navagraha Homam.
Each package contains the entire set of inputs needed for the event. The products list include agarvathi, camphor, sambrani, sandal powder, vibhuthi, and rose water and vastrams made of cotton and silk.
The owner, Mylapore-born is a resident of 2nd Trust Main Road, Mandavellipakkam. He is an alumini of P. S. Hr. Sec. School.
