Young cricketer B. Aparajith, a resident of Leith Castle Road has been selected for the India squad that will take part in the ICC Under 19 – World Cup. This tourney will be played in Australia this August.
Aparajith, who will be turning 18 this month was part of the U-19 Asia Cup which was held recently
He is a right hand batsman, a off-spinner and an all rounder.
Aparajith was a student of St. Bede’s School, San Thome. He is also the only player from Tamil Nadu to be in the India squad for the Under-19 World Cup. He has made his debut in Tamil Nadu’s Ranji team.
