Proposals put forth at September meet of Mylapore’s councillors
The councillors of the Wards which fall under Zone 9 of Chennai Corporation (covers Mylapore area) met in late September at the Corporation’s zonal office 9 in Valluvar Kottam), to present local area civic proposals for this neighbourhood and discuss local issues.

Laying of concrete cement road at P. P. Salai at Rs.588000; Kapali Salai at Rs.216000.
Ward 122
Laying of concrete cement road at West Sriram Nagar at Rs.17204000; South Sriram Nagar at Rs.2350000; North Sriram Nagar at Rs.4730000; Co-operative Colony at Rs.2947000; from Seethammal Road junction to high road at Rs.1620000; Seethammal 3rd Main Road at Rs.1910000.
Renovation of the ward office at Rs.292000.
Ward 123
Laying of concrete cement road at Narasimhapuram Street at Rs.2216000.
Maintenance of roadside garden at Luz Church Road and the garden in C. P. Ramaswamy Road, below the flyover at Rs.285000.
Renovation of the footpath at Eldams Road and TTK Road at Rs.120000.

Laying of concrete cement road at T. S. V. Koil Street at Rs.2480000.
Ward 125
Laying of concrete cement road at De Monte Street at Rs.1900000; Nimmo Street at Rs.1525000.
