The interschool sports contest Santourna 2012 held at San Thome High School on Oct.8.
The prize distribution ceremony was presided by Rev.Bro. Anthonysamy, Principal, San Thome HSS and Haresh Sundar, Sr. Manager, Marketing, Fresh & Honest Café Ltd, the major sponsor of the tournament.
M.Ilavarasu, San Thome Alumni, Vijayakumar, Chief Manager, IOB, San Thome branch, Thiagarajan, Manager, Indian Bank, San Thome branch and C. Badrinarayanan, Chief Manager, Karur Vysya Bank, San Thome branch were the special guests.
This tournament was conducted in memory of former principals of San Thome School late Rev. Bro. John of the Cross, Rev. Bro. Augustinus, Rev. Bro. Raphael, Rev. Bro. Stephen and Rev. Bro. Camillus.
Some of the Mylapore schools emerged as winners. Lady Sivaswami Ayyar Girls School was the winner in the Volleyball game. While San Thome School and St. Raphael’ Girl School were the runners up in the Basketball game.
