Gitanjali Group Enterprises has recently opened a new jewellery showroom at TTK Road, opposite Narada Gana Sabha. Jewel Souk is an exclusive space for diamonds.
This is the main difference between the Gitanjali showrooms located on this road, says Sharif, store manager at Jewel Souk.
“We have all brands of diamonds for men and women,” he added. Jewel Souk is an Arabic word meaning jewel market.
The store displays some of the leading brands like Gili, D’ Damas, Nakshatra and Asmi. We have our own artisans in Mumbai who design our products, Sharif says.
Though we don’t undertake personalised orders we also have here a range of designer wear, gift items and watches, says Sharif.
We are told that the diamonds are sourced from South Africa and are checked for its authentication and quality at independent gemological laboratories. Each piece of jewellery is accompanied with a photograph of the product and the certificate issued by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and International Gemological Institute (IGI).
