The silver jubilee reunion of the 1990 boys batch of San Thome higher secondary school, San Thome was held on July 27 at the school premises. Several old students – actor Prabhu Deva, Tamilnadu state cricket team selection chairman – S. Sharath, former Tamilnadu cricketer – George John and other prominent doctors and lawyers attended the function.
The event started off with the students honouring their beloved teachers and presenting the lifetime achievement award to their teachers, old principal – Rev. Br. Selvanathan and present principal – Rev. Br. Irudhayam. Old students Dr. Sreekanth and advocate Rajesh talked about the time spent at the school. A former principal Rev. Br. Jesuraj, who started his career as a teacher at the school in 1986, talked about his unforgettable memories with this batch.
