Guru Sankara Vijayendra swami of the Kanchi Mutt took part in the Shri Sankara jayanthi mahothsavam held on April 23, at the Karpaga Vinayaka Temple in R. A. Puram.
The rituals began at 5 p.m. and a large number of people, mostly from this neighbourhood took part in the event.
