The managers of Sri Kapali Temple, Mylapore have put out a notice detailing all the major expenses that will be required for repair and restoration civil works at the temple as it prepares for its kumbhabhishekam in early 2016.
From repairs of the main gopurams and vimanams to those of the various sannidhis and the mantapams in this campus, the list pout out seems to be a consolidated one.
The budgeted amounts run in lakhs of rupees – it is said the total expense budgeted could be close to Rs.4 crores.
Donations are invited by the temple management and we hear a few donors, regulars here have already made commitments.
