Vidya Mandir Alumni Association (VMAA) organised an inter school quiz competition for children at Chinmaya Heritage Center, Chetpet on Nov 14. The event was held to mark the school’s diamond jubilee celebrations.
Aditya Chandrasekar and Rahul Raman of Vidya Mandir (Mylapore) won first prize in the Group
– A category, for classes VII-IX and S. Hariharan and S. K. Ashwin of Chettinad Vidyashram won the first prize in the Group B category – for classes X – XII.
More than 850 students from 300 schools took part in this competition which was conducted by quiz master Sumanth. C. Raman. Jobby Verghese, national head, HCL Learning, N.V. Balachander, senior vice-president, HR & CSR, Ashok Leyland, Kannuswamy, president, VMAA , Shoba Raman, principal, Vidya Mandir and several others were present at this event.
