The buzz in AIADMK circles in Mylapore is about who will be given the ticket by Jayalalithaa to stand as the party candidate in the May elections to the TN state Assembly.
R. Rajalakshmi, the current MLA has applied for the seat – which is understandable. She does not have a negative record and she seems ready to contest all over again, if picked up.
The name that is however creating some buzz is that of former DGP of TN Police, R. Natraj, who is a AIADMK party card holder. He too has applied for the Mylapore seat and if chosen, may have a good chance in the hustings.
