A special homam was performed on the occasion of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Jayanthi at Sri Rangamannar Sametha Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar Temple at Alwarpet today (May 18).
About 50 kilos of kadhambam flowers and garlands will be used to decorate the deity at the thiruppavadai utsavam to be held today evening at 5.30 p.m. A special thirumanjanam has also been planned for the deity on May 25.
