Online Discussion: By students of Hari Shree Vidyalayam and school at Virginia, USA

Students of classes IX, X and XI of Hari Shree Vidyalayam, R. A. Puram will be participating in an online discussion today (Nov 18) with their counterparts at a school in Virginia, USA on the topic ‘Freedom of speech and social change’. The event will happen at school premises in the evening. This online discussion is sponsored by the US consulate and taken forward by the Global Nomads Group (GNG).

Before the online discussion there will be a formal ceremony to hand over certificates to the participants. Introductions will be given by Ihab Salameh and Dina Bokai of GNG and the certificates will be handed over to the children by Ariel Pollock, Public Affairs Officer, US Consulate.

  1. Such programms if publicized earlier would have enabled, more Indian American children in USA to participate. This will give students in both countries to know about culture of other countries.
    Recently I saw students of Hign School in MD, where my grand daughter studying, doing project on recently held a President election. Election system in USA differs from that in India…
