It is a St. Bede’s versus Don Bosco in the final match of the TNCA schools cricket tourney for under-14 players and this match will be played at the Marina today.
This will be a 50-overs-a-side match and St Bede’s is expected to win the trophy.
Last evening, St Bede’s trounced San Thome. Its score was 209/6 in 50 overs and San Thome could only make 114, being bowled out.
The other match was a low-scoring one and Don Bosco took time to go past the small total of Vidya Mandir 86 runs.
Vidya Mandir made the Don Bosco batters sweat it out to get there, with the Egmore school team scoring 87 runs while losing 7 wickets and doing so only in the 48th over.
