A group of the community which attends CSI St. Thomas English Church in San Thome recently went on a tour to three places associated with St. Thomas the apostle.
The destinations were St. Thomas Basilica in San Thome, Our Lady of Health Church in Little Mount, the St. Thomas Mount National Shrine.
The group was led by Presbyter Rev. Richard Ambrose Jebakumar. Church member Fabiola Jacob curated the tour.
Fabiola says this was organized as part of the St. Thomas English Church’s 175th anniversary celebrations that are on now.
Says Fabiola, “We found that in spite of living in the city for many decades, most of us had never visited these places and knew very little about their rich history.”
