As part of the monthly ‘Sunday Kutcheri in the Park’ organized by Sundaram Finance, Akshara Ashok, a class VII student of Vidya Mandir, Luz, presented a mikeless kutcheri this Sunday, Dec 3 at Nageswara Rao Park, Luz.
Akshara was accompanied by R. D. Shyam Ragav (disciple of Sherthalai. R. Shivakumar) on the violin and K. Abhinav (disciple of Arjun Bharathi) on the mridangam.
Dhandayudhapani, GM, Sundaram Finance, presented certificates and mementos to the artistes.
Launched in Feb 2006, this event provides opportunities to youngsters aged below 15 years to sing in front of an informal park audience.
