Exhibition of Gond art and Korean calligraphy; from today

InKo Centre will exhibit ‘Snowman – Imagining the Winter Olympics!’ a collection of works by Gond artist Japani Shyam and Korean calligrapher Song Dong Ock. Curated by independent art curator, Insang Song based in Seoul, Korea, the exhibition is an attempt to conceptually complement Gond painting and calligraphy, both centuries-old, finely nuanced traditional art forms from India and Korea, respectively.

Both the artists and the curator will be present at the inauguration on Jan 19 at 6:30 pm at The Gallery @ InKo Centre. The inauguration of the exhibition will be followed by a unique calligraphic performance by Song Dong Ock.

Till Mar 20. At InKo Center, Adyar Gate Club Road.
