Plays by Crea Shakthi will focus on mental illness and women’s empowerment.

Crea Shakthi will stage two plays this weekend:

Kirukku Nagaram Express is a satire on society’s approach to mental illness, to raise awareness on mental health issues such as stigma, bullying, depression and safe spaces. On Mar 3, 7 p.m.

‘Dolls’ is a play that narrates a set of stories defining the modern urban woman. Each of their stories, symbolised by a doll, brings forth a myriad of emotions of which society may have been ignorant.  On Mar 4, 3 p.m.

Both plays are at Chettinad Hari Shree Vidyalayam, R. A. Puram. Log on bookmyshow.in for tickets.
