The 198th annual sports meet of San Thome Higher Secondary School, San Thome was conducted on July 20 at the school premises.
At the opening ceremony, the theme was ‘Incredible India’. The chief guest R. K. Aadhav Arjuna, MD of Arise Industries and Agency Pvt. Ltd. and the general secretary of TNBA, presided over the ceremony. They watched as 193 cadets marched past them to the rhythmic beats of the band. Later an oath was administered by the school pupil leader after which the drills were held.
The prizes were distributed by the guest of honour, Binu Aquito, senior tax asst., Income Tax Department.
