Sri Kapali Temple’s mantapam will offer rasikas three evenings of Carnatic percussion music concerts by stalwarts in this field.
The annual Patri Drum Fest starts this evening with vidwan Dr T K Murthy on the mridangam, at 6.30 pm and then, at 7.30 pm, it is vidwan K V Anand’s turn to turn on the mridangam at the second concert.
There are two concerts, hour-long ones with the focus on percussion instruments.
