‘Lineside’ is an exhibition of photographs of trains in and outside Madras shot some 50 years ago by Ian Manning, a teacher/professor who was passionate on the photographing Madras and its railroads and did this in his spare time when he was working in the city.
Manning shot thousands of pictures and a bunch of these photographs were digitally restored by ‘Poochi’ Venkata Raaman, who is a photographer and railways enthusiast.
The exhibition is on till 6th September at Wandering Artist, 6th Main Road, R. A. Puram.
