Prayathnam, a forum of young dancers and dance teachers led by dancer Sreelatha Vinod, is celebrating its 10th anniversary on Oct 28 at Chettinad Vidyashram, R. A. Puram. Dr. Premeela Gurumurthy, vice chancellor, Tamilnadu Music and Fine Arts University will preside over the event.
The special guests are dancer-guru Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam, president, Nrithyodaya, Sujatha Vijayaraghavan, founder and organising committee member, Natyarangam, Narada Gana Sabha and guru Roja Kannan, director of Bharata Natyalaya and president of ABHAI. 4 p.m. onwards.
