Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple, Mylapore
At Sri Kapali Temple, Mylapore, a veedi purappadu will be held in the morning and evening everyday. On Nov 13, the festivities will start off with the ther in the evening followed by Soora Samharam at North Mada Street, Mylapore. On Nov 14, an ekadina laksharchanai will be held in the morning followed by the thirukalyana utsavam in the evening.
Sri Karaneeswarar Temple, Mylapore
Daily events at Sri Karaneeswarar Temple, Bazaar Road, Mylapore include a special abhishekam, alangaram and maha deepa aradhanai in the evening. On Nov 13, a shanmuka archanai will be held in the morning and evening. The thirukalyanam will be held in the evening on Nov 14. The deities will be taken on a veedi purappadu on the yaanai vahanam. Kutcheris and upanyasams will be held in the evening everyday.
Sri Velleeswarar Temple, Mylapore
At Sri Velleeswarar Temple, Mylapore, a veedi purappadu will be held for Lord Murugan in the morning and evening. On Nov 13, Soora Samharam will be held in the evening. The next day, a laksharchanai will be held in the morning followed by the thirukalyanam. A veedi purappadu will follow. Music and dance recitals and upanyasams will be held in the evening everyday.
Sri Malleeswarar Temple, Mylapore
At Sri Malleeswarar Temple, Bazaar Road, Mylapore, daily events till Nov 13 include a special abhishekam, sahasranama archanai and maha deepa aradhanai in the evening. A special abhishekam will be held on Nov 14 morning. In the evening, the thirukalyana utsavam will be held.
