Center for Ethnomusicology, founded by late Dr. S. A. K. Durga and The Study Circle on Musicology is organising a talk on Nov 19 at The Music Academy, Alwarpet. Eminenet musician and musicologist Dr. Ritha Rajan will talk on ‘Developing the future musician-musicologist – challenges and responses’.
She will also receive a cash award for her service to the field of musicology. N. Kumar, vice chairman, Sanmar Group will hand over the award. All are welcome. 10 a.m.
