A community Christmas celebration – CareFest – is planned this evening ( Dec.21) at the Savio Hall at St Bede’s School, San Thome. It intends to support the old, less abled and people who suffered in the Gaja cyclone.
The Christ-Focus group along with Arumbu magazine of the Salesians is hosting this meet, starting at 6 pm here.
Archbishop Rev. Dr. George Antonysamy and High Court judge Justice Kirubakaran will speak. There is a dance recital and some carols too.
Goodies will be served and donations given to people.
Those who wish to donate clothes and dry food may do so at the event.
