Over 1000 people are said to have applied to the Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) for a ticket to contest the Lok Sabha elections in April – May 2019.
MNM party is founded and led by actor politician Kamalhassan.
Over the past few days, Kamalhasaan and his team besides a few guests have been interviewing the applicants at the party office on Eldams Road, Alwarpet.
MNM has also been allotted the battery-lit torch symbol by the Election Commission.
