To prevent untoward incidents this New Year, the Chennai City Police has put in place some traffic restrictions at Marina and Kamarajar Salai.
Police personnel will be posted on bandobust duty across key points at Marina ‘s service road.
Foreshore Estate Road will be barricaded post 8 p.m. Motorists will also not be allowed to enter Kamarajar Salai and loop road after this time.
Vehicles coming from Adyar and Karaneeshwarar Kovil side will be diverted towards Santhome.
