The annual vana-bhojanam ritual was observed by Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple, Mylapore on Sunday morning.
The decorated images of Singaravelar and his two consorts were taken out in a procession from the temple after 8 a.m. and brought to the mantapam on R. K. Mutt Road near Mandaveli Post office.
After the rituals, the procession returned to the temple.
