In the past few days, seven new virus cases have been reported in Mylapore.
A Chennai Corporation official attached to ward 126 who governs the civic activities in these areas confirmed this information.
Of the seven, two have been reported at Andimaniya Thotam near MTC bus terminus in Mandaveli. One has been reported at Vanniyampathy Street, one at Vanniyampathy Housing Board, one at 13 th Trust Cross Street, one at Trustpakkam 3 rd Street and one at Perumal Kovil Street.
The official however says he does not have details of these cases.
He says that today (May 18) one case has been suspected at Bharati Nagar (Karakottai), Mandaveli. But he says the case is not yet confirmed.
