Two virus cases have been reported at K.V.B Gardens off Kamarajar Salai in R.A.Puram. The colony has over 500 families living in tightly packed houses.
Says Geeta, a resident of this area, “Two women from our colony have tested positive for the virus. They were taken to the hospital last night. Today (May 7) morning, the civic officials barricaded the streets on which the women resided. Now, cleaning, and disinfection is on here.”
She says the virus-positive women belong to different households.
