After reporting fewer streets with virus cases since the past few days, Mylapore reported a higher number on July 8. Almost 30 neighbourhood streets reported positive cases on this day.
Of the 30, the maximum of 9 streets fell under Ward 124. While Ward 122 and Ward 126 reported 4 streets each, Ward 125 and Ward 123 had 5 each.
At Ward 121 and Ward 119, the number of streets with virus cases were 2 and 1 respectively.

Ward 124: Saradapuram 2nd Street, Vadugu Edyar Street, Ramakrishnapuram 5th Street, Ramakrishnapuram 3rd Street, St. Mary’s Road, Ponambala Vadhiyar Street, Alamelumangapuram, Rakiyappa Street, Vadagur Selva Vinayakar Koil Street.
Ward 125: Sonachalam Street, Dooming Kuppam, San Thome High Road, Dr Radhakrishnan Salai, Meenambalpuram
