At Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Higher Secondary School, the principal, vice principal and a few office staff got together to garland a picture of Mahatma Gandhi at their campus at West Circular Road, Mandavelipakkam, today morning.
The principal of the school, G. Pandian says, “Students usually take part in this celebration but we couldn’t call them due to the pandemic. The students would start planning a few days ago, they would be some speeches, songs and other cultural events”.
The school will be shifting into the Lady Sivaswami School campus after Navarathri. This state board school, which had classes XI and XII only till last year, will now admit students of classes VI to X also. For details contact them at 24957950.
