40 streets in Mylapore reported virus cases on Oct. 1

The number of streets reporting virus cases in Mylapore reached a new high on October 1, with 40 streets reporting virus cases on this day.

This is the highest number that the neighbourhood has ever seen in the past few months.

According to data posted on Chennai Corporation’s website streets including May Flower Garden, Bawa Road and Judge Jumbulingam Road reported cases on this day.

Here are the streets that saw virus cases on Oct. 1

Ward 119: Judge Jumbulingam Road, Musuri Subramaniam Salai

Ward 121: Veeraperumal Street, Chidhambarasamy 2nd Street

Ward 122: Boat Club Road

Ward 123: Bawa Road, R.A.Puram 3rd Main Road, Ramaswami Street, C.P. Ramaswami Road, R.A.Puram 2nd Main Road, R.A.Puram 6th Main Road, Kennedy 1st Street

Ward 124: Venkatesa Agraharam Road, Nattu Subbaraya Street, Shanmuga Pillai Street, Mundagakanni Amman Koil Street, Rakkiyappa Street, Chitrakulam South Street, Mosque Street

Ward 125: Muthu Krishnan Street, Venkatasamy Lane, Dr Radhakrishnan Road, Kutchery Road, Mangollai, Papanasam Sivan Salai

Ward 126: Santhome High Road, Trustpakkam South Street, Sivaraman Street, Patammal Street, Loop Road, R.K. Mutt Road
