Guru Dr. Sudha Raja, who has more than four decades of experience in the field of Carnatic music, will be conducting two workshops for Navarathri this year.
The first one, Navrang, will be held in association with R. A. Puram based Rhapsody and will be for children and adults aged 5 years and above. She says, “The classes will be held from Oct. 17 to 25 at 5.30 p.m. It is a sing along where the participants will learn nine songs. The course fee is Rs. 700 for 9 sessions”.
The other workshop titled ‘Trisakthi’ is only for students who have a background in music. They will learn nine rare classical compositions composed by Harikesanallur Muthiah Bhagavathar.
Participants have the option to choose different packages. They can either attend class for one day at Rs. 99 or can take the entire nine day package for Rs. 799. They can choose to go in for an evaluation and certification for Rs. 1299. They also have the option to gift this workshop to their friends and loved ones for Navarathri. This workshop will also be held from Oct. 17 to 25 at 6.30 p.m.
