The city has got a new place where people can take selfies. And flaunt the name of the city.
An installation on the Marina beach lawns closer to the Vivekananda Illam and not far from Queen Mary’s College, which is very large in size, is called Namma Chennai in red and white and has the sand and sea as its natural backdrop.
The project is part of the Smart City Mission project that is overseen by the city civic body.
Already, beach-goers and others have been shooting pictures and taking selfies.
