Only small numbers of people were seen hanging around the Marina beach this weekend since it was out of bounds for the Pongal holidays weekend in line with pandemic time regulations.
The police were posted all over the beach side – especially patrolling the Loop Road which allows easy access to the beach from the kuppams side.
