Mylapore wakes up to a very quiet lockdown Sunday

The second Sunday lockdown is unfolding in almost total silence at dawn.

There have been less vehicles on the road than last Sunday and at key junctions police on duty stop and question those driving down. Be it at Luz, Marina,  Alwarpet.

Since temples, churches and mosques are closed too, there is no movement here and around. Nor any of the same at the popular Marina fish market or on South Mada Street.

The lockdown has been effected to tackle the raging virus.
