Every. morning, a few people, some on their way to office, some with free time on their hands, drop into Our Lady of Light Church in Luz to pray.
The office goers are in and out in minutes while elders spend more time, in prayer and in meditation in this ancient church, whose first avatar was built in the mid 16th century.
But all these people have to had to give this daily practice a big pass due to pandemic time regulations when all places of prayer were closed.
On Monday,. June 28 morning this church like all other churches and temples and mosques re opened, as per the orders of the state government. And the regulars at this Luz Church were back.
Just a handful of them; in the quiet of a rainy morning, they prayed and moved out.
